ADULT DANCE AND FITNESS CLASSES

All ages and abilities welcome!


Ballet Basics (45 mins): This class is designed for adults with little or no ballet experience that want the fitness benefits of a ballet class without complicated exercises, turns or the impact of jumps. It will teach you the basics of ballet with simple exercises that work on your co-ordination, strength, balance & flexibility.
No ballet or dance experience needed.

Level 1 Ballet (45 mins): This class is designed for adults with some ballet experience that want to enjoy an easy to follow class. While this class follows the structure of a regular ballet class beginning at the barre followed by centre work, including turns and jumps, alternatives are provided for those that do not wish to turn or jump.

Level 2 ballet (1 hour): This class is designed for adults with a few years of ballet experience that want to challenge themselves. This class follows the structure of a regular ballet class beginning at the barre followed by centre work, including turns and jumps.

Mat Pilates (45 mins): Performed on the floor, Mat Pilates exercises are aimed at improving flexibility and muscle tone. Mat Pilates is great for everyone from beginners to advanced students because the exercises not only can build in difficulty, but every exercise can be modified to decrease or increase the level of challenge. No experience needed.

Barre Workout (45 mins): Barre fitness combines ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates and strength training. This class delivers a full body workout, but it's great for strengthening and toning your glutes and legs. Barre is low-impact and many exercises can be modified to suit everyone's fitness level.
No experience needed.

Dance Fit (45 mins): This class has everything! It includes cardio, strengthening and stretching exercises, travelling steps and a few short, repetitive dance routines. Each week is different and your instructor goes over each exercise and routine slowly first to make sure everyone has got it! No dance experience needed.

Ava Fit (45 mins): This class has no dancing! Just a whole body workout with light hand weights. Your instructor will offer modifications to suit everyone's fitness levels. This class is on special for just $10 at the moment!!

Beginner Tap (45 mins): This class is paced for beginners and encourages everyone to just give a go! You will see exercises repeated for a few weeks so that you get a chance to practice your new skills. A great way to get moving in a fun, relaxed environment. No dance experience needed.

Boogie Bounce (45 mins): This class is SO much fun! Boogie Bounce is a complete exercise programme performed on a mini trampoline. The programme consists of a highly effective H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training) cardio section followed by a toning section, working bums, tums and thighs. No dance experience needed.
